The Iverson Story:
E.V.
Iverson, born in Reynolds, North Dakota, was a first generation
American-born Norwegian and the second of six children. As a small
boy, he moved with his family to Badger, Minnesota where his father
established a general store.
In his community on the great flyway, hunting was a way of life.
As a child, he learned how to hunt ducks and geese. By the time
he was in high school he was acting as a guide for groups of visiting
hunters who were likely organized by his father. Most of these men
called by mouth with varying degrees of success.
